  10. Computer chosing query

    My HP laptop is four years old and, as a result, is held together with duct tape and hope.  I’m planning on getting  a laptop this summer, but I’m not sure what to get.
    Currently, I’m leaning towards a mac since my friends who have macs seem happy with them.  I also like that I could dual boot it and run Windows.
    However, I’ve never had a mac, so I’m not 100% sure what to expect and don’t really know any possible downsides.
    Anything I should know about having a mac/any advice you’d like to give?
